Introducing to you all, SHIM BABY, my latest, fabulous, sponsor. Alexandra Moore started this shop when a friend announced she wouldn't be learning the sex of her baby before birth. She of course went shopping for gifts and was left empty handed in a market saturated with pinks and baby blues. (SHIM is the contraction of she and him - how cute?)

I could do something with all that white - I could make it my own and bring adorable, neutral, unisex baby gear to moms, dads, family, and friends who still looked forward to a surprise birth. And so I began focusing on handmade basics: with baby-friendly designs and adult-friendly fabric patterns. My pieces are unique and provide a welcome respite from traditional baby fare offering gear that is perfect for both the to-be-determined little ones and little girls and boys as well.

Alexandra's goal is to provide cute and functional baby accessories, clothes and paper goods that are truly neutral. She wants to offer some great products for families getting a surprise on delivery day, but also for mom's that know what they are having, but like a more neutral palette. (Like me!)
