My mom hair

I let my hair stylist take a pair of scissors to my ponytail, gave it to Locks of Love and haven't looked back.  Long hair is gorgeous but it wasn't working out for me.  I am loving my new short do!

I definitely suggest taking a leap of short hair faith.
