DIY Maternity photos

We made the decision since we are having a photographer at the babies birth and then also having newborn photos taken at the house soon after, that we would forego a maternity shoot.  Part of me wanted one and part of me thought it was sort of a waste, since the photos would  most likely never be something we would hang on a wall in the living room or use for Christmas cards.  I would like to document how large my belly has grown, but I've been doing that myself thus far and will continue to.  So yesterday I thought maybe I'd get a bit more creative and try to take something better than mirror photos.  Here's what I did with the camera hiding in one hand, and I think later today I'm going to get really brave and try the tripod and timer.
