Designing a home office

Since I've got a couple of weeks until I pack up my things from work and head home, today I'm taking some time to start planning out the home office design. At the moment, I have a whole room at my disposal but I'm actually not a big fan of filling up a whole room with work related things. The problem with having a whole room is that you will no doubt fill it up if you have the space. I have an office currently, and I have used an entire book shelf and filled every inch of my large elbow desk.

Also, my plan is to use this office until the spring time, then move down to the basement and who knows where I might move after that. You never know, we may not even have this house forever. So what I'm thinking, is to design everything so that I can move it whenever I choose without a whole lot of hassle.

This doesn't take up too much room, but in my head, the design would be even smaller. It also doesn't look like that would be too easy to move to another room. I do however, absolutely love the colors and patterns they've used. I'm thinking I may steal this color scheme.

I really like this idea of just having a desk and one simple thing hanging on the wall. It looks to me like this is a pretty wide desk which is why they are able to cram so much stuff on it.

The closet office idea is genius! If I were really crammed for space this would be such a great way to go. For now though, I'm going to keep looking. Especially since this is something that you would build custom for you and wouldn't be easy to move.

This last one I think may just be my favorite. It's a tiny desk that would easy be able to hold my small laptop and a few desk accessories . I love the idea of having the three bulletin boards above to fill with all of your reminders and deadlines. This would be a breeze to move since all it takes is moving the desk and placing three new nails in the walls. Does anyone know how to make these boards? I would like to find a fabric like the pink flowers above and make my own.

If anyone has a home office I'd love to know what you've done to keep your house cute but having what you need to get your work done. I think I'm off to do some shopping!
