Books to movies

I love reading and I love watching movies - both of these are in my top ten favorite things to do. I love spending my time turning the pages and delving into a story, growing to love the characters and watching the whole thing unravel. What is a ridiculous amount of fun for me, is when someone turns the story I fell in love with into a movie. Sometimes a disappointment, but others so incredibly thrilling to see it all come to life. There are two movies I am itching to see that are from two of my very favorite books.

The Time Traveler's Wife.

I know this has already come and gone from theaters, but I decided not to see it then since I had not read the book. This book was one of the best ever and I am eagerly awaiting the DVD release date in February.

Dear John.

Oh my... this book is so incredible. I mean just... gosh, I love it. If you haven't read it GO READ IT soon before it comes to theaters (also) in February. Do you remember how excited I got when I found out they were making this film? I'm eager to see if Nicholas Sparks decides to write a sequel to this, I would love it.
