Until last night I was a concert virgin. I'll admit that I have been to a couple of outdoor festival type of things but never an actual concert with tickets and venues and lighting etc. I didn't know when to show up or what to wear and had to ask lots of questions.

This is my excited face.

Since my husband is awesome, he got founders club VIP tickets which meant we got to slip in the side door and go to a private dining and concession area. We got wrist bands so we could enter back into this section from the concert area. There was a curtain and a man standing guard with one of those rope things and would only let you in if you had a wrist band. I felt so special flashing my right arm to him every time and being immediately let in.

We got there early so we hung out in the founders club, got a couple of beers and pretzels.

So then we went in and found our seats which were FAB. We were in the front row of the lower section. The middle of the theater was filled with fold up chairs facing the stage which would have been horrible seats I think because they had to stand for the entire show in order to see.

Now, the next pictures are going to be horrible, disgusting quality but I'm sharing anyway because this is the fun part, pictures of the Idols! They all sang in order of the top ten, from Michael Sarver to Kris Allen. They came on individually and did 2 or 3 songs and right before intermission a few of them sang together and then at the end everyone came out for a song.

So my first concert was a success, and even though Guy hadn't watched the show he still had a really good time as well. If you have a chance to catch this show I would suggest it for sure.
