Vote for McCain v2

Only 13 more days and I can stop posting this political stuff, but for now it's important and I'm grateful if even one person read this.

Tuesday I posted about how important our nation's safety is and how badly I wanted a president that truly felt that same way. I want someone that will make a stand and fight for us no matter what it takes and make the hard decision to go to war (or stay in a war).

Democratic vice president candidate, Joe Biden, made a comment on Sunday that "it will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Watch. We're going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy."

According to history, this is probably true, and Al Qaeda specifically, has tested the last three presidents within the first year of his taking office.

George H. W. Bush - December 21, 1989: Bombing of Pan Am Flight 103, killing 280 people.

Bill Clinton - February 26, 1993: Bombing of World Trade Center, killing 6 people
October 3-4, 1993: Ambush of UN Troops in Somalia, killing 14 U.S. Servicemen.

George W. Bush - September 11, 2001 : Flew planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania, killing 2,974 people.

I pray that whoever we choose as president is not tested in anyway, their hands will already been completely full. However, if the next president is tested, who do you want in Washington deciding what to do? Even if I thought Barack Obama was a great man with great plans for health care, taxes etc. (which I don't), I would have to go with John McCain on this issue.

McCain added, "Sen. Biden referred to how Jack Kennedy was tested in the Cuban missile crisis. My friends, I have a little personal experience in that. I was on board the USS Enterprise. I sat in the cockpit of the flight deck off of Cuba. I had a target. My friends, you know how close we came to a nuclear war. America will not have a president who needs to be tested. I've been tested, my friends."
