John McCain

My goal has been to post every day of the last week until the election, but work comes first. So, since I'm running out of time I am going to post a link to a great story written by John McCain in May of 1973 called John McCain, Prisoner of War: A First-Person Account.

Even after 5 1/2 years there, he still came home a proud American, loving his country and putting it first. This is what I admire most about him.

"I had a lot of time to think over there, and came to the conclusion that one of the most important things in life—along with a man's family—is to make some contribution to his country."
